The magic of the holidays comes alive in The Comcast Holiday Spectacular, the free, must-see holiday tradition in Philly that is presented by Comcast Corporation which is a global media and technology company, headquartered in Philadelphia, with several well known businesses including: Comcast Cable (xfinity), NBCUniversal and Sky.
From Thanksgiving Day to New Year’s Day, the Comcast Center lobby is the go to site in Center City for the magical celebration of the holiday season.
Since it debuted in 2008, the 15 minute Comcast Holiday Spectacular has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Attendance to this relatively new and free holiday tradition has already surpassed over 2 million people in just 10 years. At the top of each hour, you can take a break from the cold in the Comcast Center's Winter Garden and enjoy a special performance of “The Nutcracker” by the world famous Pennsylvania Ballet, as well as special renditions of “Carol of the Bells,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
Visitors are dazzled by the Comcast Holiday Spectacular which is shown on the 83’ x 25’ Comcast Experience Video Wall, which is one of the world’s largest, high resolution LED video displays.
Before or After the Show
The Comcast Center is also home to the Market & Shops at Comcast Center. There are a number of stores within Comcast Center as well as some delicious dining options. Philadelphia institutions Di Bruno Bros. and Termini Brothers Bakery are some of the highlights of the market. Also don’t worry, if you’re hunting for a Philly Cheesesteak, you can also find that at Cifelli’s Steaks & Hoagies at the Market & Shops at Comcast Center.

Notes: the show is not presented on weekdays at 5:00PM (because of all of the workers leaving the Comcast Campus)
On New Year's Day, the last show is at 6:00PM
How to Get There
Located at 17th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, the Comcast Center is just about 1 mile away from the National Constitution Center which is where The Constitutional Walking Tour starts and ends.
The Comcast Center is easily reached by public transportation as it is directly connected to the concourse of Septa’s Suburban Station (regional rail). The Comcast Center is also just blocks away from stops on Philadelphia’s two main subway lines, the Market-Frankford Line (15th Street Station) and the Broad Street Line (City Hall Station).
