If you’re looking for a truly authentic Philly food tradition during your visit, you can find a rather quirky one within blocks of Independence National Historical Park.  By combining the best of what two neighboring South Street restaurants - Lorenzo and Sons Pizza and Jim’s Steaks - have to offer, you can make your very own Philly Taco by wrapping a Philly Cheesesteak in a jumbo slice of Philly Pizza.

Check out The Constitutional's Senior Tour Director & Guide, Nathan, creating and enjoying his very own Philly Taco. Mmm Mmm Good!

Insider Info

If you’d like one of The Constitutional's local tour guides such as Nathan to take you on a tour to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and then take you to enjoy your own Philly Taco at Lorenzo and Sons Pizza and Jim's Steaks, you can book one of The Constitutional’s VIP Tours.  Each VIP tour is catered to our visitor’s needs and can take you to any Philly sites and eating establishments you find yourself interested in!

If you are more of a traditionalist when it comes to Philly Cheesesteaks and are not inclined to try a Philly Taco, we also offer a unique VIP Philly Cheesesteak Experience & Tour where before or after your private VIP Tour with The Constitutional Walking Tour, small groups will be able to go "backstage" at Campo's Philly Cheesesteaks to where the cheesesteak magic happens. Tour one of Philly's top cheesesteak eateries, learn about the famed sandwich's history, and then make, and of course eat your own cheesesteak.  Will you make yours "Wit' or Wit'out" (that's fried onions we're talking about!)? Yes, we'll teach you all the terminology too! The Constitutional VIP Cheesesteak Experience is only offered by advance reservation, and are only available at certain times of the day (11AM and 2PM). The Constitutional VIP Philly Cheesesteak Experience & Tour is least 2.5 hours in length. For more information or to book a tour, call 215.525.1776 or click here to Make a Reservation.
