On September 15, 2020, ABC News hosted a Town Hall with President Donald J. Trump at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The Town Hall was entitled The President and the The People, and it was hosted by ABC's George Stephanopoulos.
There were numerous topics discussed including the COVID-19 pandemic, systemic racism, racial injustice with the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Jacob Blake, the economy, healthcare, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), Vice President Joe Biden, and many other subjects that are being debated now in the Presidential Election 2020 between the incumbent President Trump and Vice President Biden. The Town Hall was held in the National Constitution Center's Sidney Kimmel Theater that is best known as the venue for the live theatrical presentation in the round "Freedom Rising" performance.
